Terms of Service

ProsPal is a marketplace connecting homeowners with verified home service professionals. We do NOT perform home services ourselves — we connect you with independent contractors.

By using ProsPal, you agree to these Terms.

You must be 18+ and a legal resident of the United States to use ProsPal.

• We match customers with verified pros based on location, trade, and availability.
• We facilitate communication, quoting, and scheduling.
• We do NOT guarantee work quality (that's between you and the provider).
• We DO verify provider credentials (license, insurance) but verification has limits.

• Provide accurate information.
• Show up for scheduled appointments.
• Pay providers for completed work.
• Treat providers professionally.

• Maintain valid license + insurance.
• Show up on time.
• Provide quality work.
• Honor accepted quotes.

• Customer cancellation 24+ hours before: free
• 1–24 hours before: $50 fee
• Less than 1 hour: $100 fee
• 30 minutes before: full session fee
• No-show: full session fee

ProsPal charges providers a success fee (typically 10%) on accepted quotes. Customers do not pay ProsPal directly.

ProsPal is not liable for damages caused by providers. Maximum liability: amount of fees paid to ProsPal in the past 12 months.

Disputes are first handled by ProsPal mediation. If unresolved, binding arbitration in [state, USA].

ProsPal name, logo, code, and AI are owned by ProsPal Inc. You may not copy or imitate.

We may terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

We'll notify of material changes 30 days in advance.
